The bike was the first thing I bought, and it turned out one of the guys on my team knew how to drive it. He gave me lessons.

Mm... it's a feeling I can understand, at least.

I more or less expected to die for my ideals at one juncture or another, though honestly it's strange to think about actually getting a funeral, because of that.

So, you were someone fighting for what they believe in, in a bloody revolution, I imagine...? That's why you should have had a funeral, but I can understand, too... if you were hated enough to think you might not.

We have inhuman powers that allow us to enact such wild torments upon each other. I could eat you alive in your dreams, and you would end up in a hell of my own choosing. Your powers to force someone to repeat their actions can trap someone in their own body. There are units who can force you to feel or not feel something.
Bordeaux: And you think temporary murder is an "escalation", when I was threatening not to kill you, but to wipe you directly from existence?
