The door opens up to a room that is a mix of a common area and living room resembling the BARiTONES dorm, all in deep reds with low lighting, with plush furniture and a small bar. There are various rooms for many different people with card readers that bar your entrance; a room for each member of BARiTONES, past and present, and nameplates also include the names of their ‘accessories’, but the most striking thing about this room is that every single piece of furniture bears a plastic covering such as one might see in an older home to preserve their cleanliness.
The bar is stocked with alcohol, though it is all just plain alcohol, and on the side of the bar there is a kiosk similar to the sort you might find to play games in any public bar with a hands on the front of it like a trash can’s. Opening it, you could not fit something the size of a person in there, but the bottom looks dark, as if it extends into a void, and the screen tells you that you can add dorm upgrades here, so long as you give up something for payment, without saying what it is that it requires for payment.
As it is a more lived-in space, it does look the part. Despite the plastic coverings, there are cups laying empty here and there, and a number of the chairs have clothing draped over the back or the arms. On the end tables near the chairs, there also are plates with silverware. Behind the bar is a small sink, if you wanted to wash any dishes!
In the back of the room is a door forward, standing no larger than any of the doors to the rooms but lined in gold.
[ she had no idea what baritones looked like, unlike me, who spent a lot of time thinking about what baritones looks like
she, however, has to wonder why there are so many extra rooms for other people. well, might as well start with the tidying up. she's going to collect the dishes and start washing them. ]
[It's a palace! Obviously you have to have a bunch of extra rooms. This is too many rooms, but that's fine. They're locked so you probably aren't supposed to clean them anyway!
The dishes do not pose much of a challenge, not covered in food or anything at least.]
once she's done washing them, she'll put them away tidily, and then go pick up some of the assorted clothes. is there a laundry bin or chute or some obvious place to put them? ]
[Intensity meanwhile is going to flop on the nearest plastic furniture and get comfortable while the vaccuum and roombaBlower 9000 do something like this.
Aka imagine the extenders and utensils of the vaccuum moving around things and depositing them near the sink for Hope to clean.
[It isn't a particularly good gaming kiosk, mostly offering "dorm upgrades" for this room(set of rooms) for the low, low price of throwing something into the void garbage, but you could probably get it to do solitaire too.]
[This room is more or less how it is in the waking world, including all of the strange things Eichi keeps in his room such as the painting Fox did of him, numerous weapons(an axe, a spear, a cane sword, and a pocket pistol), and just SO MANY idol tsumtsums, including the two of Wataru and Tenn in maid outfits set aside. You will probably notice the biggest difference being some really heavy-duty locks on the inside of the door, meant to keep others out.
The room seems to have been organized a little, his weapons on one side of the room, far from the tsumtsums, and there is a pile of neatly-folded clothes in here for Eichi to put in his drawers or closet sometime.]

throwing clothes into the void seems bad maybe, but who knows. hang on though; she needs intensity to stop playing solitaire on it first. ]

Do you suppose the slipcovers are a metaphor for a detached and unlived-in existence?
