Bordeaux: Tsukasa-kun, you do not need to act as if you are a burden to me.
Bordeaux: If you were a burden, I'd tell you so!
Bordeaux: Come, you may visit as you please.

Suou: I will take you up on that offer, then.
Suou: There are a number of matters I would like to speak openly about with you.

Bordeaux: Ask and you shall receive. I am an open book for you.

Suou: Thank you.
Suou: I will be there shortly, then.

[ And sure enough, it's not long after his last text that a knock will come upon his door. ]

[Eichi will open the door, giving Tsukasa a sympathetic smile.]

Hello, dear. It does seem we can't keep many of our friends around, doesn't it?

Well, I'm glad to still have you. So! Come in, come in!

[ He looks as though he hasn't slept a lot the past few days. Or, at the very least, his eyes are puffy.

. . . The ghost game took a toll. ]

[ He bows politely before stepping inside and properly removing his shoes. ]

That is precisely why I hoped to visit. I confess, that I feel increasingly vexed. And more than that, I'm fairly angry. I don't know where else to turn in order to vent this or figure out what to do. And so here I am, though naturally, I am always happy to see you. It's a relief.

[Poor, sweet boy. Eichi reaches out to embrace him once his bow is over, and he squeezes him a bit.]

[ Oh. ]

[ Oh. Give him just a moment. He's going to swallow down everything that threatens to bubble back up to the surface. He thought he got all of this out of his system just last night. ]

[ He draws a breath, hands curling into the front of his suit tightly. ]

Tenshouin-oniisama... what can I do? Please tell me what I can do to get them back. I won't accept that they can just continue to steal all of my knights like this!

[ Hands shaking in frustration. ]

I won't just do nothing. You... You must know more than others about the producers. Is there a way to find them? Do the producers have weaknesses? Are they able to be communicated with at all?

[ Anything at all. ]

Tsukasa-kun, be not hasty. You will do neither yourself nor your Knights any good if you try to act rashly.

I will tell you what I know but you must promise to listen to me, and to never make any foolhardy attempts to upset things without my help, understood?

[ He nods, grip remaining tight as his jaw clenches. The last thing he wants to do is make something worse. He knows he's upset right now. That he's emotional over another loss. But feeling as though he can't do a single thing to protect the people he wants to protect the most leaves him distressed. ]

I promise. I have no desire to make a foolish decision that could make things worse. I just... I want to do something. Or at least see something on the horizon. I cannot just sit still without a plan when one person disappears after another, to who knows where in that god-forsaken place.

Well, at the least you've come to the right place to look for light at the end of this dark and depressing tunnel.

[Finally, he releases his embrace, patting Tsukasa on the back.]

In the meantime, I'll tell you a ☆~secret~☆. There is a way out of this cage. I've used it before, though I went to Heaven then, before it came crashing down, while Leo and numerous others were sent to another place in Hell.

[And with that, he pops into the BARiTONES kitchen to start making tea.]

[ He blinks, eyes widenning in surprise as he pulls back. ]

[ Then... there really is a way? Possibly even more if Leo and others found a way, too...?

That's the first bit of good information he's heard in-- well, he doesn't even know. ]

I... I will wait...!

[ Should he just stay out here, or head to his normal office. He decides to remain, but it's harder than ever to wait patiently. ]

[A little bit of hope. He will have to temper Tsukasa's expectations, but as an idol... it is his duty to bring hope to the hopeless, light to those in the dark, and so it is fine.

He is not gone long, returning with some hot tea, dark with a golden sort of color, smelling of honey.]

Now. I can tell you about our foray to Heaven, and how escaping works... Though I must warn you that it is not so easy to get back. So leaving, you risk being lost as they are. That said, there are also ways to guarantee our friends are safe, even if they are not here, too. One which I am working on now.

Please... tell me everything. No matter what, we will all be risking something in trying to defy the captors that have us trapped in our prisons.

I have no intention of taking foolish action, but knowledge, truly is what we lack the most right now. I desire to know all that you can share.

How did you get there and how did you leave? Moreover- how can you guarantee that they are safe?

I agree; knowledge is our most powerful tool here, since we cannot rely on the money we have now. And so-

Absinthe was charged by the Demon Lord of Vengeance, Azzy, with investigating Heaven once he'd learned of the angel there, and to that end, he told Absinthe how to reach Heaven. To get there... we would simply need to perform a ritual which people believed would get us there.

One of us on our own may not have had the power to do it ourselves, and so Absinthe recruited a sizeable group of people. Of those, the ones who believed we would reach Heaven upon completing a silly ritual which meant nothing in the end, reached Heaven, and those who did not believe were sent to someplace in Hell, likely because they either did not trust Absinthe, or because they believed it was some kind of trap.

It stands to reason that perhaps this can be used to get wherever you need, granted there are enough people believing in the ritual.

That said, this method is reliable in getting you out, won't get you back in, and Hell is a vast place. There is no guaranteeing that those who have left us will be together, either. Leaving this place... we have little power.

As for guaranteeing their safety... There is a graduate who has made a safehouse. Members of BARiTONES and members of Zrael, I believe, can live in this home with no fear of fading, no danger of being displaced. This was granted as his wish when he graduated.

I would make one such place for the idols of my world and Tenn's with my own graduation. I know not when it will come, but if I wish to have all of those idols for myself, then it shall be so. And while my ambitions are not so small, this is high on my list of priorities.

[ It seems almost ridiculously simple, but he would never have thought believing hard enough would be enough to transport them to a different location. With the right number of people, that is.

But this leads to so many more questions, each one fighting for dominance, curiosity peaked. ]

Who were the people that this Absinthe fellow gathered together? Were they all auditions? Leo-san, too, you mentioned. What did they find in heaven? And whatever happened to the angel? And what did those who went to hell see when they were there?

Mmmmh... Of the people gathered only a very small number remain here. Hurricane on HSS and Nemesis on your own unit were there, if I recall correctly. They both made it to Heaven, though Absinthe and I were the only ones who knew that belief was the reason the ritual worked, and not the ritual itself. We thought it would be easier to believe if people didn't think that the ritual was just something we were making up on the spot.

Most of them were not auditions, actually. I just remember auditions better since we were working together at the time.

The angel was taken prisoner by Azzy, who intends to force the angel to Fall.

.... you would have to ask the others what they saw in Hell. I didn't find out, but during a maintenance, we did end up going to the Hells proper for a bit. I stayed in Liar Hell though, a place where demons dress up like angels and survive off of attention.
