My Dear Emperor,
I've drafted this entry three times, but in the end ... I suppose that's the opposite of what I should be doing, isn't it? You'd told me before that this book was to share our thoughts and feelings, for your eyes only.
It's hard for me to say something as I think or feel it, but you already know that. But ... This is something that I want to share with you. Maybe, writing out my thoughts as I have them will make them less difficult to share.
Although, I'm not sure what to write. I don't have anything to send you updates on, like you did for me, because you're always with me. That does make me very happy, though - always being with you. The me of before wouldn't believe it at all, that sometimes I wish that I could sew our bodies together so that it would be impossible for us to be apart.
I know that's a very strange thought to have, but I also know that you would like it.
I also know that you'll argue against this until you've run out of breath, but I'm unfortunately too boring outside of being an idol to have many hobbies. I don't think that I could come up with any interests to share that doesn't sound like I'm giving an interview, but I'll try.
I like reading. It's something that I could do anywhere between shoots and practices and locations. I like mysteries, it makes me feel smart to be able to piece together something before it's revealed.
I like cats. This one isn't news, I think. Because I couldn't have one of my own, I would go to cat cafes on my rare days off. There was one that I frequented often that had a cute black kitten who would bite my fingers a lot.
I like to take pictures of them, too. My social media was very popular at home, and most of it was pictures of stray cats or food.
On that note, it's a little embarrassing, but I get actually a little excited when a new seasonal drink comes out at Starbucks. Not only do I want to taste it, obviously, but I usually want to take a picture of it very badly. Isn't that too basic?
I like amusement parks. It isn't for the rides, or anything, though. I'm not an adrenaline junkie who loves rollercoasters. An amusement park is like a large-scale performance, with everyone working together to make somewhere that's like a dream. The one in Tokyo-F is a little disappointing, in that way, I think. It's fake, so it's too hollow.
I think meal prep is fun. With the rations (which are gross) and almost unlimited food, it's not something that I have to do here, but I liked cooking for a week in advance and freezing them for later. That's really boring, isn't it?
I can't really think of anything else, right now. If I can come up with anything else to say, I'll either write it down again or just tell you in person.
